Successful Come & Sing: next, Brahms German Requiem

Watch our for some new members arriving in September, following the great success of our Come & Sing event in July {see Latest News}.  I know you will give them a warm welcome when they join our rehearsals for the Brahms German Requiem.

The registration fees of 25+ visitors to the Come & Sing, plus the generous donations of attending members (for which, many thanks) has helped us remain solvent!

And on the topic of income, I want to record my gratitude to all our rehearsal refreshment monitors (your £1 donations for tea and coffee have so far this year raised more than £320.

Even more important- a huge 'thank you' to Prue Vernon and Rosie Roberts for their hard work in revitalising our Bring & Buy stall.  Please continue to be generous when they chase you for merchandise, especially garden things and home baking.  The attractiveness of the stall means they have raised over £600 already this year.

These extra funds are very useul, and are the equivalent of more than five new members.

Don't forget also that you can contribute to choir funds without even noticing, by simply signing up for the easyfundrasing app - https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk
and nominating Tyndale Choral Society as your preferred charity. This means that whenever you buy stuff online from a huge range of companies, the choir receives a proportion (sometimes as much as 10%) of the cost.  So far this year, that's raised us over £300: we can easily triple that if a few more of ou sign up!

Have a great break and see you on 7th September!
